Time flies over us, but leaves its shadow behind.” – Nathaniel Hawthorne

One of the things that are irredeemable when they are lost in life is – time. This makes it essential for us to maximize our time and prioritize where to be infusing our efforts at the right time. Those who value time track the opportunity they can create with it.
Time, like any other things that can be exchanged for a fee is a commodity that can be priced away from us if we don’t know what to do with it. (Though, this is applicable to those who count everything to be trivial and don’t direct their time towards doing something resourceful, worthy and productive with it).

Your time is something you can’t get again and what you can only get from it is what you do with it – positively or negatively. Richard Whately remarks: “Anyone who loses an hour in the morning will spend the rest of the day looking for it.”

Abraham Lincoln advised that: “The best way to determine the future is to design it.” You should therefore be using your time to determine your future by using it to create the future you desire.

Fulfilling people don’t just wait for second to count and leave them by without doing anything rewarding with it. They make sure that every second is theirs to maximize, and they use the second to deposit something that can yield them profit in the long run.

Someone once said: “If you don’t take time on creating the life you want, you are eventually going to be forced to spend a lot of time dealing with a life you don’t want.” This is what the people that are not investing their time are guilty of.

These people take their time to complain, instead of championing a cause. They take time to condemned what is not good in their lives, instead of commending what they have gotten right and using it to accomplish more. They take time to concentrate on where they flaunder, instead of where they flourished. They shrink their time for no purpose, instead of deploying it to swim in purpose.

You can only be successful through where you thrust your time. Likewise, you can only be fulfilled in life by thrusting your purpose in the way you use your time. How you use your time may either be your shade or it brings you shame. Warren Buffett, one of the most successful entrepreneurs averred: “Someone is sitting in shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.”

Successful people are conscious of the irredeemably of time and they approach every moment with the intent of fully seizing what it holds by planting something in it, whose its harvest would be beneficial to their purpose, cause and future. Your time is finite. But what you fix it with is what will create the affinity of paybacks you will receive

Till I comes your way next week, I am confident to see you where people who invest their time are converging to reap their rewards.
