JUST A LITTLE

Every day we read of warfare, slavery and crimes in the news

Where guiltless people fall prey

We view shooting, kidnapping, and civil unrest

Yet our fingers we cross

Blames is all our mouth could render

How many of you would give to the God you don’t see?

But neglect the man that you see in need

Isn’t it written;

“How can you claim you love Me which ye see not

and hate your neighbor which ye see?”

Charity starts at home don’t we say?

Perhaps our home lack enough love

How then can we extend helping hands to those in need

To those poor boys and girls

Who cannot afford to own their lives

If all the well-to-dos in the world

Contributed just a little

To Charity and Community

Every poor person
