Several lives, cars and shops have been burnt down as a result of fire today in Onitsha, Anambra State. According to reports, a petrol tanker fell and exploded right in the market, causing fire that razed through MCC to Upper Iweka road in Onitsha, Anambra state.

Another report has it that the fire outbreak in Onitsha spread from Upper Iweka going down to inner Street in Ochanga, down to Amobi Market…. With the Destroy Goods Worth Millions In Ochanja Main Market Onitsha

Rumor Has It that, there were no fire rescue team to save both lives and properties. This went on for over three hours before fire fighters came round from the neighboring state (Delta State).
