I am sure you want to know about how pineapple can lead to excessive menstrual bleeding, but before then we should consider the health benefits of pineapple.

Some of us don’t like this fruit call pineapple, but pineapple has it health benefits. For me, I consider pineapple as a tuber crop than the fruit it is called. I prefer peeling yams or potatoes than to be stuck trying to slice a pineapple.
Well, my feelings definitely won’t change wont change the level of health benefits in spiny on the outside and sweet on the inside fantastic fruit.

Pineapple can help reduce the risk of mascular degeneration (a disease that affects the eyes as people age). Pineapple has high amount of vitamin C and contains antioxidants. This availability of Vitamin C also helps to fight against problems such as heart disease and joint pain.

Like other fruits and vegetables, pineapple contains dietary fiber, which is essential in keeping you regular and in keeping your intestines healthy. Pineapple contains significant amounts of bromelain, an enzyme that breaks down protein, possibly helping digestion.

Pineapple can help reduce excessive coagulation of the blood. This makes pineapple a good snack for frequent fliers and others at risk for blood clots. However, pineapple has it health risk as well.


Eating or drinking unripe pineapple juice is dangerous. The fact being that it is toxic to humans and can lead to severe diarrhea and vomiting.

Eating a great deal of pineapple cores can also cause fiber balls to form in the digestive tract. Additionally, extremely high amounts of bromelain can cause skin rashes, vomiting, diarrhea, and excessive menstrual bleeding.
