Do you know that you can be a Nigerian, live in Nigeria and yet become a foreigner in Nigeria? This is what we feel will be happening anytime soon with the new policy brought up by NIMC National Identity Management Commission.
NIMC made it known in a tweet and this has got many talking. You should see what others have to say about this new development.
Card Renewal is N3000 while Card Replacement is N5000

literally I have to pay 3000 for the renewal of National ID CARD but what of if I decide not renewal it after it expired will i be deported or what or I’m no longer a Nigerian, just tell me my country before the card expired so I can relocate prior to the expiring date

I don’t know if this decision was made in the toilet cos the idea stinks ! My Citizenship will expire right? If that’s the case,I will cease to pay tax when my card expires. What is wrong with this country? Those that registered haven’t gotten and you want them to renew?

Vehicle papers-we renew every year, Driver’s license-over 20K to register and now, National ID card to still cost money ehn? Didn’t I say it that the Independent we got then was too early and see now, slavery by our own people!!!😭😭😭😭

Traveling passport, driver’s license & national ID card will all expire, and @nigimmigration, @FRSCNigeria & @nimc_ng will make you pay to get them renewed, but @inecnigeria made your voter’s card to have life validity.
Only our votes matter to them.
This is deliberate wickedness
